Jesus came to save you've heard

But do you know who this Jesus is

Who He said He is?

For a man can follow any idol

He makes up in his head

And calling it Jesus does not

Make the sinner undead.

Have you lied, have you lusted?

Have you blasphemed His Holy name?

We have broken His law - We have spit in His face

We need grace.

Jesus came to save you've heard

But are you a sinner in need of saving

Or are you good?

For a Christian by name does not a Christian make

It is the deadliest of lies

And when not realized

Seals our fate. 

Have you lied, have you lusted?

Have you blasphemed His Holy name?

We have broken His law - We have spit in His face

We need grace.

Get in His Word

And deeds will never save you

But change shows your faith is alive

For faith without works is dead

Says Jesus Christ. 

Have you turned, have you trusted?

Have you called on His Holy name?

We are forgiven by faith through His work on that stake

In Him we are safe all our sins are erased

Held up by His name we can live day by day 

In His grace - along by His grace!
